Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches
 | The FIEC exists to serve and support the affiliated churches.
We are a group of independent evangelical churches based mainly in England, but also with affiliated churches in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
Total membership is almost 22,000 with over 30,000 attending the main services of the churches.
We are committed to a robust evangelical theology (embodied in our Basis of Faith) the widest possible expression of true gospel unity and the churches we represent have a desire to reach out with the good news of Jesus Christ.
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"
The Bible (Acts 4:12 NKJB) The FIEC has an interesting history. Formed in 1922, it has grown to a fellowship of almost 500 churches, together with more than 800 personal Associates. We have various Teams (or committees) drawn from the churches and wider afield, to organise and develop the work of the Fellowship and to enable us to provide specific services and resources. The ten staff and volunteers in our Market Harborough and Swindon offices handle the day to day workload.
Our core work has three strands: - Church Support
- Training
- Outreach
The staff and Teams are accountable to the FIEC Council that meets three times a year. The Council is, in turn, accountable to the Annual Assembly where the churches, through their appointed delegates, conduct their business.
